wget on SAM9L9260 with a Fedora 12 host

I recently was visited by a highly trivial problem while setting up my Fedora 12 box as a development host for the SAM9L9260 development board. I had a file cross compiled and ready to be sent over through Ethernet.

Repeated trials on using wget to tx file from the board showed

“No Route to host”

The funny thing is, its just the firewall playing the tricks. Just do

system-config-firewall

and disable it or allow port 80 to be accessed. Thats it. Linux’s got these tiny probs, but surely, it provides you tools to solve the probs. More SAM9 tits-bits coming soon…
